The first orders rolled out of NEHP’s new life sciences fabrication facility this week, on their way to an installation that Fluor is overseeing for leading biotech company AMGEN. NEHP’s dedicated 7,000 square foot, state of the art, cGMP compliant space meets or exceeds all ASTM BPE piping fabrication protocols. Previously, the company had produced skids for the semiconductor industry and life sciences on a single shop floor. The new space more than doubles NEHP’s production capacity and greatly increases operational efficiency.
“The addition of a dedicated life sciences building clearly demonstrates our commitment to this industry,“ said NEHP’s founder and CEO, Adam Tarr. “It also allows us to accelerate production in our existing facility by eliminating the changeover process from electronics to Pharma. Now we can maintain permanent presets for the particular requirements of each industry, affording substantial time and cost savings. Every day we save on this end is one day closer to market for our customers.”
The new space on their growing campus in Williston, Vermont is capable of designing and building process piping modules of up to 12’x40’, contains segregated SST material processing and a dedicated ventilation system to eliminate process contamination. The configuration of the life sciences building takes full advantage of NEHP’s intelligent design and engineering tools, reducing need for rework, enabling consistent design, faster project execution and ultimately an accelerated time to market.
NEHP’s documentation driven process control allows precise management of engineering changes or any alterations and generates the most accurate “as built” documentation for operations and maintenance available. Because NEHP’s integrated design tasks meet or exceed general industry quality goals they can be adopted by customers as best practices, boosting efficiencies and producing more accurate deliverables.
