NEHP has created a new safety system for raised access floor (RAF) applications. The new Safety Frame For RAF provides a previously unavailable degree of safety for most major types of raised access floor systems. Fabricated with 304 stainless steel, Safety Frame for RAF greatly reduces the risks associated with open floor tiles and offers a more effective solution than cone or PVC based systems.
“For years, companies have been getting by with cones, boundary tape and other improvised approaches,” said NEHP’s founder and CEO, Adam Tarr. “The time had come to develop something that was going to seriously address an issue that was creating a safety hazard for people and equipment.”
Safety Frame for RAF is available in three standard sizes, 2’x2’, 2’x4’ and 4’x4’ and is designed to most major floor types including Dawtech and Tate. Custom sizes are also available. Centering rails and a lockdown system provide for a secure connection. Standard toe guards ensure that lose parts stay where they belong and self-latching, lockable gate doors control access.
